Healthy snacks…


Since my maternity, I’m hungry. To control my weight I want to listen my body. But in the past I was in overweight and I lost 33lb. I’m careful with the sugar, I eat fruits and chocolate just at breakfast! So if you are hungry just before the lunch of the dinner, I cook somes healthy vegetarian dips. You can eat this dips with corn wrap or whole wheat wrap. If you choose bread prefer whole wheat or buckwheat 🙂

With this 3 easy recipes, you can bring it in lunchbox to the work. Or eat when you want. But the most important listen your body. For this recipes I use a thermomix like a blender.

 

Hummus with baby carrots

 

Hummus:

– 1 canned of chickpeas, liquid reserved

– 1/2 cup (80g ) of sesame paste (tahini)

– 1/4 cup ( 60ml ) of extra vierge olive oil

– 2 gloves of garlic

– Salt pepper to taste

– 1 tablespoon of cumin

– Juice of one lemon

– To garnish chopped fresh parsley

Blend all ingredients except parley. Eat with fresh carrots or wraps.

 

Guacamole minute

 

Choose an ripe avocado, just use a fork to blend, I prefer a crunchy guacamole. I you prefer a smooth paste use a blender.

– 1 avocado

– An half of onion (white or red)

– Cumin to taste (for me lot of)

– Paprika

– Tabasco to taste

– An half lemon juice

This recipe is ready in 3 minutes, it’s my favorite. You can use this guacamole for fajitas or crackers.

 

Eggplant caviar

To finish the eggplant caviar. Best after a night in the fridge.

– 2 eggplants

– 2 gloves of garlic

–  1 tablespoon of cumin
– 1/8 cup ( 20g ) of extra vierge olive oil

– 1/2 tablespoon of salt

1- Put the garlic in the thermomix, mix 5 sec position 5.

2- Add the olive oil, 3 minutes 100*C position 1.

3- Add the eggplants, spices and lemon, 40 minutes 100*C position 1.

4- To finish mix 5 sec position 4.

Eat cold on the pita bread, or wraps…

 

Now no excuse to eat clean. This recipes are healthy with good fats!
